On December 1, 2023, Birka Friedrich has joined VisiConsult X-ray Systems & Solutions as new Head of the Marketing and Communications department which is also in charge of all corporate divisions and group companies including VCxray, VCbattery, VCsecurity, VCcount and VC Xray Inspection Services plus supporting joint activities with diondo. With over 20 years of professional experience in both product communications and stakeholder reputation management as well on the corporate as on the consulting side, the business economist brings a wide range of valuable competencies from branding to crisis management.
Over the past seven years, Birka has successfully managed the communications departments of two fast-growing SME‘s in the cleantech and energy infrastructure sector. Before joining VisiConsult, she served as Head of Corporate Communications and Marketing at the Hydrogenious LOHC group of companies, a soonicorn and international market-leading pioneer of innovative hydrogen storage and transportation solutions.
Prior to that, she headed communications at the GP JOULE Group, an integrated renewable energy and Power-to-X solution provider. Birka kicked off her career in well-known PR consultancies where she successfully supported clients ranging from Dax30 companies as well as SME’s to industrial associations and federal ministries.
