VisiConsult, the world market leader for customized industrial X-ray systems headquartered in Northern Germany, is continuing its international growth path with a subsidiary in India and continued presence in China.
VisiConsult has already successfully implemented a large number of projects in Asia. In the future, the company will raise its responsive to Asian customers even higher. Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic, VisiConsult is expanding its presence in two Asian markets this year. One of the new offices is in Pune, India. Hajo Schulenburg, founder of VisiConsult, will take over the development and management in India and explains: “This will be an essential addition to our previous team, because Indian companies want more and more products from India. Pune is a mecca of automation technology, that offers a large selection of skilled workers. They can respond better to local requirements in many ways.” Hajo Schulenburg personally drives the construction forward locally. In addition to production, there will be an application center, as wells as service located in Pune, India.
VisiConsult’s local sales partner Arora Technologies continues to be the first line of contact for Indian customers. Lennart Schulenburg, also Managing Director at VisiConsult, says: “Arora is an experienced sales partner whom we and our Indian customers appreciate very much. We are therefore looking forward to continuing to work with Arora.” The proximity to Mumbai as a hub and an airport were also important criteria for Pune, which have already been a key justification for other European companies as well.
In Suzhou, China, VisiConsult has continued to make further progress, and was able to win Kevin Chen as local manager for this year. Mr. Chen has already presented VisiConsult at trade fairs and looks confidently to the next few years: “As a production country, China has enormous market potential. Our products meet many market requirements. With our high level of automation solutions and the high system quality, we will attract more and more Chinese customers.”
These locations are two big steps for the family company from Northern Germany that are designed to further ensure competitiveness. “The world is in a crisis,” says Lennart Schulenburg, “some people like to stand still or shift down a gear, but countercyclical actions are often our best opportunities. ”
