XRHPalette

The XRHPalette is a universal inspection system for small to medium parts. It contains of a palette conveyor and a multi turn manipulator inside the cabinet. Due to its modular palette design it can be easily tailored towards other inspection tasks or parts.

The main focus of this system is Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR) for complex positioning, completeness or defect inspection tasks. Due to the precise motors Computed Tomography (CT) can be added on demand if required. The detector and X-ray source can be chosen freely depending on the inspection requirements. Loading and unloading can be done manual or automated with a robotic system.

Typical applications

XRHTube

The XRHTube is a specialized system for high resolution double-wall weld inspection of titanium pipes. The system is designed and approved by the demanding standards of the aerospace industry and allowes our customer to switch from film to Digital Radiography (DR) through DICONDE.

The X-ray setup combines a 150kV micro-focus tube with a high-accuracy live detector to inspect wall thicknesses down to 1.6 mm. If required the tube and panel can be chosen depending on application requirements. The inspection is complying to EN-17636 and can be completely automated through CNC controllable axes and Xplus sequences. The universal design and tube/panel choice makes this system perfect for other industries as well.

Typical applications

XRHMultiTube

The XRHMultiTube is a specialized system for the inspection of endless pipes. The pipes are welded together and coiled on a big reel for the oil and gas industry. As the inspection has to be carried out in respect to the demanding EN-17636 standard a sophisticated mechanic is needed.

The system has a tilting axis to allow elliptical weld inspection from multiple angles. To adjust the resolution, the magnification can be changed dynamically. Finally, the tube and detector can be rotated 330° around the pipe center to capture all angles. All movements are automated through CNC programmable axes in our Xplus Handle to increase the inspection speed and quality. This allows high-volume production, while ensuring the inspection quality.

XRH433 Tower

The XRH433 Tower is a versatile system for high precision double-wall weld inspection. The system contains of five CNC programmable axes and a simulated C arm to ensure a perpendicular setup. Especially the big magnification axis allows high quality micro-focus inspection.

A special feature is the high repetition accuracy and the capability of advanced inspection processes like Automated Defect Recognition (ADR) and Computed Tomography (CT). As an image source CR-plates, digital detectors or film can be chosen freely depending on the requirements and a rod-anode for butt-weld inspection can be added.

XRH222 Pipe

The XRH222 Pipe is a specialized system for safe double-wall inspection of circumferential welds of thicker pipe-like objects used in the defense industry. The spark proof and anti-static surface is approved to handle delicate explosive material and parts.

The system is designed for a maximum process and handling safety and allows inspection complying to EN-17636. All movements can be completely automated through CNC controllable axes and Xplus Handle sequences.
